Assigned to the Women's Dorm

At university a clerk sends him to the wrong building, and the dorm keeper tells him to stay until the paperwork is fixed. The room is a women's dormitory. Seven adult roommates come back from class and find a man on the spare bed, under a notice that calls the arrangement temporary. Nobody who lives there believes that word. / He can demand a transfer and explain a joke they do not find funny. Or he can learn a room that was not built for him: who uses the bath, which drawer locks, and which of the seven will still speak to him after that. The office has not called.
