System: Mother-in-Law First

A system window opens in an ordinary city apartment and gives him a first quest with a familiar face: his mother-in-law. She is a married woman, not a stranger the interface invented, and the tasks it lists are about winning her compliance, point by point, as if a person were a skill tree. / He can call it a game. The system does not. It rewards obedience and withholds the next gift when he hesitates, while she remains someone who can still throw him out of the kitchen. The fantasy is the screen. The danger is treating her like a level.
