The Wild Berry Show

A variety show offers a beautiful spread and a contract the guests should have read twice. The fruit at the center of the table is the mystery. People eat, perform, and smile for a format that starts to feel less like entertainment and more like a test written by someone who will not appear on camera. / Then the joke turns dark: suspense, a world already ending, and a bargain nobody can leave cleanly. The next round may still look like a game. The players who understand the berries too late will not be the ones writing the rules.
