The Dating Assistant

A contract places a discreet assistant between a woman and the dates she no longer trusts herself to choose. He is not from her city. A voice in her ear tells her when to smile and when to leave, and the same contract forbids him from becoming the person she is meant to meet. / The arrangement works, which is the trouble. The better he guides her, the harder it is to separate a good night from a feeling he staged. She can keep the earpiece, or ask what he wants when it is finally switched off.
