The Forbidden Summons

Something answers when it should have stayed unnamed. The summons is forbidden, and the only other certainty is an affair: a call that pulls two adults toward a bond they had agreed not to touch. Lover or apparition, the thing that arrives wants a reply. / They can pretend the first call was an accident. The second call will make that story harder to keep. Silence is starting to count as an answer, and neither of them is sure they want to hear what they have already agreed to.
