The Ghost Who Cannot Leave

Aqiang rents a worn apartment and finds that Axiao, the woman in it, is already dead. She cannot cross the front door. Their closeness brings him money and days that bend his way, until the neighbors start to thin, as if his luck were drinking theirs. / The fortune is a circle built five years ago, and Axiao is only its vessel. When the maker returns, Aqiang is given three days. He spends what the circle gave him and breaks it. The windfall vanishes. Axiao still cannot leave. Each day, he walks back through that door.
